Women's network representative Rose Waites works with the HER Centre, a group dedicated to the empowering of all women. Rose is keen to raise the profile of the HER centre, as it runs a number of specialist support groups and training to help the process for personal change and growth.
The HER Centre facilitate a number of support groups and training sessions, these include:
- Confidence building workshops
- Form filling
- Arts and crafts workshops
- Outreach sessions
- Domestic violence and advocacy support
- Parenting training manuals
- Advice and advocacy
