The black and minority ethnic (BME) community has a new representative on the Greenwich Community Network — Adam Mohammed. He works closely with the Somali community and other organisations in Greenwich.
Adam runs the organisation, Advice and Career Development for the Somali Community (ACDSC), which holds English and IT classes, offers free internet access, helps with translation and works loosely with young people. Through his role with GCN, Adam will become the voice for the BME sector as part of the Network's mission to be a voice for the whole community.
GCN currently has a number of vacancies for other representatives across a range of geographic areas and sectors. Find out more about becoming a rep.
