Are you an experienced trustee, senior manager, director or non-executive director? Are you willing to share your expertise to support the establishment of a high profile, pivotal umbrella organisation for the voluntary, community and faith sector in Greenwich?
The Steering Group for a cvs in Greenwich is looking for Initial Subscribers, available for a minimum of six months, to establish a new council for voluntary service. The role will include establishing the organisation as a charitable company, recruiting a chief executive and developing the membership.
This will require a time commitment that could involve up to two days in some weeks. In recognition of this we are in the position to recompense organisations, within our budget, prepared to allow a staff member to be released for this work.
We are actively encouraging those interested to attend a briefing session on the 12th September 2007, 6.00 — 8.00 pm at the Forum at Greenwich, Trafalgar Road, Greenwich, London, SE10 9EQ.
